Miami Heat will play as Vice City the night before GTA 6 launches

The Miami Heat announced on October 2, 2026 that their home game against the Milwaukee Bucks on November 18, the night before GTA 6 launches, will be “A Night in Vice City”. ESPN reports that the Heat are partnering with Rockstar Games on the event. The team’s own post and event page do not name Rockstar, and we have not found an announcement from Rockstar or Take-Two.

For that one game the Heat will play as Vice City at the Kaseya Center, on a court built for that night only. They will also wear a new, redesigned uniform, which the team is saving for a separate reveal. The team’s event page lists tip-off at 7 p.m. ET, with ESPN, WPLG Local 10 and FM 104.3 WQAM carrying the game.

ESPN says the Heat started promoting the night on Thursday, October 1, by lighting the “Welcome to Vice City” sign on the arena roof, which Kotaku says workers had spent weeks building. A Vice City clothing line from the team’s Court Culture brand is already on sale at the Heat store. ESPN adds that the team plans to reveal more over the coming weeks alongside Rockstar.
