Lucia Caminos

GTA VI’s other playable lead, and the series’ first female protagonist since the original 1997 game. Rockstar says fighting for her family put her in the Leonida Penitentiary, and she is out and planning only smart moves from here.

Lucia Caminos is the other half of the protagonist pair, and the first character players met: Trailer 1 opens on her in prison. Rockstar’s profile says her father taught her to fight almost as soon as she could walk, and that fighting for her family is what put her in the Leonida Penitentiary. She got out, in Rockstar’s words, through “sheer luck”.

What she wants is the good life her mother has dreamed of since the family’s days in Liberty City. Rockstar describes her as committed to her plan whatever it takes, and a life with Jason as a possible way out.

Playing as Lucia

An Extended Look shows Lucia behind the wheel during a getaway, fighting hand to hand in a stairwell, and parachuting off a building before control switches to Jason (as Kotaku describes it). Rockstar has not published the full rules for switching.
